What We Do

Research indicates that emotional and behavioral challenges in the classroom are the greatest barriers to the academic learning process. We also know that the pandemic has exacerbated existing classroom stressors and introduced new, complicated ones for both students and teachers.

We are a team of mental health professionals with extensive experience in school administration and classroom teaching. We partner with school communities to build the capacity of the adults in a school building to teach in a way that strengthens the emotional capacity of themselves and their students.

How it works

1. Our team first equips educators with a foundational understanding of how trauma and early childhood experiences impact student brains and behaviors.

2. Then, we build the capacity of educators to deliver the evidence-based, best teaching practices that we know lead to increased student outcomes.

3. Lastly, we support and invest teachers in an understanding of how their own mental health and self care impact their students.
